Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Senior Investment Manager to lead deal execution, financial modeling, and angel relationship management at Pune Angels Network. This role combines analytical rigor with business development excellence, requiring someone who can seamlessly navigate between complex financial modeling and high-touch relationship management with founders and angel investors.
Key Responsibilities
Deal Execution & Financial Analysis
Lead end-to-end deal execution
from initial screening to investment closureDevelop comprehensive pitch books
and investment memorandums for angel presentationsCreate detailed DCF models, comparable company analysis
, and valuation frameworks for startups across sectorsConduct thorough due diligence
including financial, legal, and market analysisStructure investment terms
and negotiate deal parameters with foundersPrepare investment committee materials
and present recommendations to angels
Angel Network Management & Membership Sales
Drive membership acquisition
by identifying and onboarding qualified angel investorsDevelop and execute membership sales strategy
targeting HNIs, successful entrepreneurs, and industry veteransConduct membership presentations
and convert prospects into active angel membersAchieve monthly/quarterly membership targets
and revenue goalsMaintain comprehensive angel database
with investment preferences, ticket sizes, and sector focus
Client Relations & Founder Interface
Serve as primary point of contact
for startup founders seeking fundingConduct founder meetings, pitches, and follow-up interactions
Guide founders through pitch preparation
and investment readiness assessmentManage founder expectations
throughout the investment processCoordinate post-investment founder-angel relationships
Operations & Network Management
Organize and manage pitch events, demo days
, and networking sessionsCoordinate angel investor meetings
and maintain engagement calendarsManage deal pipeline tracking
and investor CRM systemsDevelop and maintain standard operating procedures
for deal flowHandle administrative coordination
between angels, founders, and internal teamsPrepare regular reports

Strategic Initiatives
Identify market trends
and emerging startup sectors for network focusDevelop partnerships

Required Qualifications
Educational Background
MBA from Tier-1 institute
(IIM/ISB/XLRI preferred) or equivalentBachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, or Economics
Professional certifications
(CFA/FRM) preferred
Experience Requirements
0-2 years of experience
in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or corporate financeProven track record in financial modeling
and valuation techniquesExperience in startup ecosystem
- either as founder, early employee, or investorDemonstrated success in B2B sales
or business development rolesPrior experience with angel networks or investor relations
preferred

Compensation Package
Fixed Salary:
