The Investment Banking Analyst provides analytical and execution support for mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital raising, and strategic advisory transactions. Analysts play a critical role in financial modeling, market research, valuation, and client presentation development. This position is suited for highly motivated individuals with strong financial acumen, attention to detail, and the ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

投資銀行アナリストは、M&A（合併・買収）、資金調達、戦略的アドバイザリー取引において、分析および実行のサポートを行います。アナリストは、財務モデルの作成、市場調査、企業価値評価、クライアント向けプレゼンテーション資料の作成において重要な役割を担います。本ポジションは、高い財務知識を持ち、細部に注意を払い、スピード感のある環境でプレッシャーの下でも成果を出せる方に適しています。

Role Description / 役割

• Build and maintain detailed financial models to support valuation and transaction analysis.
• Conduct company, industry, and market research to identify trends and opportunities.
• Prepare pitch books, presentations, and other client-facing materials.
• Assist in due diligence processes by collecting and analyzing financial and operational data.
• Support transaction execution, including M&A, equity offerings, and debt financings.
• Monitor financial markets and prepare regular market updates for internal teams and clients.
• Collaborate with associates, vice presidents, and senior bankers on deal execution.
• 取引分析やバリュエーションを支援する詳細な財務モデルを作成・維持する。
• 企業、業界、市場調査を行い、トレンドやビジネスチャンスを特定する。
• ピッチブック、プレゼンテーション、その他のクライアント向け資料を作成する。
• 財務・事業データを収集・分析し、デューデリジェンスを支援する。
• M&A、株式発行、債券発行などの取引実行をサポートする。
• 金融市場をモニタリングし、社内チームやクライアント向けに市場レポートを作成する。
• アソシエイト、バイスプレジデント、シニアバンカーと協力し、案件実行を推進する。

Qualifications / 応募資格

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or related field; advanced degrees or certifications (CFA, MBA) are a plus.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or consulting.
• Strong knowledge of financial modeling, valuation methods (DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions), and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Refinitiv).
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Japanese proficiency preferred for local markets.
• Ability to work long hours and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
• Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and team-oriented.
• ファイナンス、経済学、経営学、または関連分野の学士号。MBAやCFA資格保有者は尚可。
• 投資銀行、コーポレートファイナンス、コンサルティングなど関連分野での0～3年の経験。
• 財務モデリング、企業価値評価手法（DCF、類似会社分析、先例取引分析）、会計原則に関する知識。
• Excel、PowerPoint、Bloomberg、Capital IQ、Refinitivなどの金融データベースに精通していること。
• 高い分析力、定量分析力、問題解決能力。
• 英語での優れたコミュニケーション能力。日本市場向けには日本語力が望ましい。
• 長時間勤務や複数タスクをプレッシャーの下で遂行できる能力。
• 自発的で細部に注意を払い、チーム志向であること。
