Investment Analyst

Role Overview:

Drive end-to-end investment activities across public and private markets, ensuring strategic portfolio growth and alignment with the Investment Policy Statement (IPS). This role involves sourcing, evaluating, and executing transactions, conducting rigorous due diligence, and delivering actionable insights to support management decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Investment Sourcing & Origination

• Lead the identification of high-potential investment opportunities through comprehensive market analysis.
• Build and leverage networks with universities, venture capital firms, incubators, accelerators, and founders for early-stage investments.
• Establish strong relationships with investment bankers, financial institutions, and advisors to enhance deal flow across public and private markets; both domestic and international.

Market Research & Analysis

• Conduct in-depth research on global market trends, industry trend, investment benchmarks, and comparative statistics.
• Provide strategic insights to informed origination and portfolio decisions.

Due Diligence & Financial Evaluation

• Engage with stakeholders to understand businesses, funds, and financial instruments in detail.
• Develop financial models, prepare deal documentation, and perform due diligence to validate expected returns.
• Analyze financial ratios and metrics to assess the health and viability of potential investments.

Transaction Execution & Compliance

• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on commercial and legal terms.
• Oversee documentation, agreement signing, and investment remittance through appropriate channels.

Portfolio Management & Reporting

• Prepare Investment Committee (IC) memos and presentations to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Conduct valuation updates, monitor portfolio performance, and develop periodic review reports.
• Coordinate quarterly updates and reporting for IC review, ensuring transparency and accuracy.
• Support exit planning and profit-booking strategies to optimize returns.
