The Investigation Senior Advisor role involves leading the investigation of major incidents and supporting business-based investigators in delivering timely reports and findings. This position plays a crucial role in enhancing organizational learning and incident management practices. Responsibilities include: - Leading significant incident investigations and supporting regional investigators - Mentoring and coaching business-based investigators - Supporting organizational learning and investigation activities - Conducting quality assessments of regional investigations - Developing and enhancing organizational investigation skills and capabilities - Providing input into organizational learning activities - Collaborating with learning forums and systems for continuous improvement To be successful in this role, you should have: - A Bachelor's Degree - Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience - Deep understanding of investigation and root cause analysis techniques - Knowledge of human factors and performance influencing factors - Familiarity with management systems frameworks and practices - Multi-disciplinary experiences in HSE&C, operations, and engineering - Understanding of process and operational safety concepts - Strong communication and time management skills Desired experiences/skills include risk management, self-verification, knowledge of OMS and digital systems, and effective communication and influencing abilities. This role requires working in UK/US shifts and may involve up to 10% travel. Relocation assistance is available within the country, and remote work is not an option for this position.
