Inverter Specialist

As an Inverter Specialist at Mahindra Teqo, you will be responsible for executing inverter services, repairs, data analysis, and field testing within the organization. Your role will involve providing technical advisory services to clients, ensuring customer satisfaction, diagnosing problems with solar electrical components, and leading internal failure analysis processes. You will collaborate with OEMs, component manufacturers, and other industry resources to address component issues and develop effective solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Document and standardize data and metrics generation/verification procedures - Provide technical support for tendering processes - Investigate concerns and implement corrective actions to maintain customer satisfaction - Diagnose problems with solar electrical components through data analysis and troubleshooting - Lead internal failure analysis and RCA processes - Work on alternative solutions/components database preparation - Develop solutions to component problems related to design, manufacturing, and supplier details - Investigate underperformance issues and propose effective solutions - Support the Central Maintenance Department with component servicing, repair, replacement, and retrofit solutions - Review safety and quality aspects of component repair and replacement - Engage in engineering activities for localization and alternate source development of products - Prepare reports, technical notes, presentations, and procedures for inverters - Act as the point of contact for all inverter-related enquiries and collaborate with service/maintenance colleagues - Maintain individual plant metrics such as MTTR, MTBF, and uptime guarantee Innovation: - Identify global innovations and assess their adaptability for Mahindra Teqo - Prepare business cases to implement innovative ideas - Drive the adoption of innovations across sites Organization Capability: - Enhance people engagement through various initiatives - Provide awareness training for change management benefits - Develop e-learning tools and monthly newsletters to share organization updates Experience: - Minimum 10 years of experience with at least 6 years in inverter service/repairs - Exposure to technology, energy, IT, and change management is preferable - Experience in startups and driving technology is advantageous - Experience working across geographically spread teams, including international locations, is a plus Education Qualification / Additional Certifications: - B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering - MBA in Operations is preferable Critical Skills: - Solar inverter service and repairs - Field testing in wind and solar domains - Change management - Data analytics and lean management processes - Business process reengineering, value engineering, lean, Six Sigma, and quality management - Wind and solar resource assessment and simulations Join Mahindra Teqo as an Inverter Specialist and contribute to maximizing asset performance for our global renewable energy clients.,
