As the largest flooring, wall, and countertop distributor in America, you will play a crucial role in partnering cross-functionally to ensure top fill rate performance in the industry. This position offers a structured career path with opportunities for growth and advancement into senior positions or leadership roles. **Key Responsibilities:** - Analyze historical sales trends, research demand drivers, and prepare forecast data to develop statistical forecast models. - Create demand forecasts at various levels of aggregation and seasonality as part of demand planning. - Assist in developing sales and marketing attributes to drive sales and contribute to inventory strategies. - Review competitive market dynamics to identify opportunities for monetization and maximize profitability. - Oversee internal transfers to maintain optimal inventory levels and manage slow-moving inventory effectively. - Address demand-related queries and issues promptly and analyze product life cycles at a regional level. - Generate ad-hoc reports and demonstrate a high level of curiosity and propensity to ask the right questions. - Collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating superb analytical and critical thinking skills. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree is required. - Minimum of 1 year of experience in an analytical role is preferred. - Comfortable working with details and a self-learner. - Experience in sourcing and product development is desired but not necessary. - Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. - Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Excel (intermediate to advanced).
