Inventory Controller (Civil Construction)

As a Warehouse and Inventory Manager, your role involves tracking and recording incoming and outgoing construction materials, tools, and equipment across all project sites. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate records to ensure efficient inventory management. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliation by performing physical counts of stock to identify and resolve discrepancies between physical and system records. - Generate demand forecasts and stock reports based on project schedules and historical data to ensure optimal inventory levels for smooth operations. - Oversee the receiving, inspection, and dispatching of goods, ensuring they meet quality standards and match purchase orders. - Manage warehouse organization by optimizing space for efficient storage and retrieval, including proper labeling and safety protocols. - Continuously monitor and improve operational procedures to maximize efficiency and reduce costs through process improvement initiatives. - Communicate with vendors and suppliers to resolve discrepancies, track orders, and monitor performance for effective vendor and supplier management. Qualifications Required: - Previous experience in inventory management or warehouse operations. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. - Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel. - Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
