International Trade & Customs Associate

As an Associate in the International Trade practice area at our Mumbai location, your role will involve: - Assisting in trade remedy investigations such as anti-dumping, countervailing duty, and safeguard measures. - Advising clients on various issues related to WTO agreements, Free Trade Agreements, Sanctions, Export Controls, and other non-tariff barriers. - Drafting and reviewing submissions, opinions, and advisories. - Coordinating with authorities like DGTR, DGFT, and BIS. - Supporting litigation concerning trade and customs matters before tribunals and courts. Your required skill set includes: - Strong research and analytical skills. - Excellent drafting and communication abilities. - Proficiency in interpreting laws and regulations. - Familiarity with international trade regulations and customs laws is preferred. In terms of behavioral competency, we are looking for candidates with: - Attention to detail and the ability to manage tight deadlines. - Strong work ethic and skills in team collaboration. - Problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a dynamic work environment. - A client-centric approach.
