Job Description

International Technical Support Associate

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshooting and Problem Solving:

    Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, either remotely or in person, for international users.
  • User Support:

    Provide comprehensive technical assistance to users, answering questions, and guiding them through problem resolution steps.
  • System Maintenance and Monitoring:

    Ensure computer systems and networks are running efficiently and effectively, proactively monitoring for potential issues.
  • Installation and Configuration:

    Set up new systems, install software and hardware, and configure user accounts as required.
  • Documentation and Record Keeping:

    Maintain accurate records of issues, solutions, and system configurations for future reference and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaboration:

    Work collaboratively with other IT teams and external vendors to resolve complex or escalated technical issues.
  • Customer Service:

    Provide excellent customer service, ensuring high user satisfaction and building positive, lasting relationships.

Skills Requirement:

  • Excellent communication skills, particularly for an international audience.
  • Strong knowledge of LAN, MAN, Windows Troubleshooting, and general Networking concepts.
  • Proven ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to computer hardware, software, and networks.
  • Experience in providing user support and guiding users through problem resolution.
  • Familiarity with system maintenance, monitoring, installation, and configuration.
  • Good documentation and record-keeping abilities.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and vendors.
  • Customer-focused with a commitment to providing excellent service.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be amenable to working in 24x7 rotational shifts.
  • Must be willing to work 5 days a week.
  • Immediate joiners are preferred.

QUALIFICATION:

  • Graduate with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Technical Support.
  • Candidates must not have any exams scheduled in the next 6 months.
