Internal Auditor

Internal Audit, Internal Controls, and Risk Management

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct

  end-to-end internal audits

  across operational, financial, and compliance areas.
• Perform

  risk assessments

  and design

  process-level controls

  for core business functions (Procurement, Production, Sales, Inventory, etc.).
• Identify

  process inefficiencies

  , recommend control enhancements, and assist in implementing corrective actions.
• Prepare

  audit reports

  , management presentations, and follow up on remediation actions.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure

  audit quality and timelines

  .
• Support in the

  development of standard operating procedures (SOPs)

  and

  process documentation

  .
• Engage directly with

  clients / plant teams

  in a

  front-end consulting role

  (not back-office).
• Utilize

  SAP / Oracle

  and data analytics tools to perform control testing and exception analysis.
• Willingness to

  travel extensively (810 weeks at a stretch)

  for plant audits and client site visits.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of

  internal controls, audit methodology, and risk management frameworks

  .
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  
• Hands-on experience with

  ERP systems (SAP / Oracle)

  .
• Ability to work independently and lead audit assignments.
  
• Exposure to

  manufacturing / energy operations

  preferred.

Qualifications

Depending on experience level:

• Analyst / Associate (1–3 yrs):

  CA / ACCA / Engineering + MBA

• Assistant Manager / Manager (4–6 yrs):

  CA / ACCA with consulting or industry experience

• Manager / Sr. Manager (7–10 yrs):

  CA / ACCA with proven experience leading audit teams in manufacturing setups
