Internal Audit Assistant

Role & responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing internal audits across departments (HR, Procurement, Operation, Revenue, Finance, Inventory etc) and business units.
• Collect, analyze, and examine records, reports, and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Document audit findings and support in preparing audit reports.
• Follow up on audit recommendations and monitor implementation of corrective actions.
• Support risk assessments and internal control evaluations.
• Maintain audit documentation and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Collaborate with other departments to understand processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Basic understanding of auditing principles and financial controls.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
