As a Merchandise & Sourcing Intern at The Mom Store, you will be instrumental in expanding and fortifying our vendor network to uphold our quality standards. Your role involves identifying and engaging with new vendors, conducting on-site assessments, and collaborating closely with vendors to ensure seamless production processes. Your keen observation skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and effective negotiation techniques will be key to excelling in this role. Your key responsibilities will include: - Identifying and engaging with new vendors meeting quality benchmarks - Conducting on-site visits for assessing production capabilities and quality control processes - Collaborating with vendors to facilitate smooth production processes - Monitoring samples and batches for quality assurance - Providing daily reports and addressing production issues Qualifications required for this role: - Background or current pursuit of a degree in fashion, textile, or apparel production - Proficiency in both Hindi and Tamil due to geographic location of vendors This Internship opportunity spans 3 months with a stipend of 15k per month. You will have a flexible schedule, provided meals, and work in a hybrid remote setup based in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
