Intern Interior Designer

About the Role

We are seeking a creative and motivated Interior Design Intern to join our design team. This role offers hands-on experience in interior design projects, from concept development to execution. You’ll collaborate with designers, architects, and project managers on residential, commercial, or hospitality projects while learning industry standards, design software, and client communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing design concepts, mood boards, and presentations.
• Support the design team with drawings, space planning, and material selection.
• Create and update floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings using AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit.
• Research materials, furniture, lighting, and finishes.
• Help prepare project documentation, specifications, and client presentations.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain samples and quotes.
• Assist with site visits, measurements, and installation supervision when required.
• Maintain the materials library and project records.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Basic proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Photoshop, or Illustrator.
• Strong design sensibility, creativity, and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced studio environment.
• A portfolio or examples of academic/design work are highly preferred.

Contract length: 2 months

Pay: ₹10.00 - ₹100.00 per month
