Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Hardware Design Intern to join our engineering team. This role offers hands-on experience in designing, testing, and troubleshooting hardware components and systems. The intern will work closely with senior engineers to support the development of Vehicle Electronics Subsystems gaining valuable skills in hardware design and engineering processes.

Responsibilities

Assist in the design and development of hardware components, including schematic capture and PCB layout.

Support prototyping and testing of hardware circuits and systems.

Perform basic simulations and analysis of hardware designs using tools like [eg, LTspice, Pspice, TINA, etc].

Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and debug hardware issues.

Document design processes, test results, and technical specifications.

Participate in design reviews and provide input on improving hardware performance.

Assist with component selection and sourcing for projects.

Stay updated on industry trends and emerging hardware technologies.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Basic understanding of circuit analysis, analog/digital electronics, and microcontrollers.

Familiarity with hardware design tools such as [eg, Orcad, Altium Designer, KiCAD or similar].

Hands-on experience with soldering, prototyping, or testing hardware (eg, through coursework, personal projects, or labs) is a plus.

Knowledge of programming languages like C, or Python for embedded systems is an advantage.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Enthusiasm for learning and a passion for hardware design and innovation.
