Interior draftsman

Experience:

• AutoCAD: 7 years (Required)
• total work: 8 years (Required)

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed interior design drawings and plans using AutoCAD(working drawing drawings).
• Develop high-quality 2D and 3D visualizations using SketchUp and Photoshop.
• Ensure drawings meet all technical specifications and client requirements.
• Ensure all MEP components are accurately represented in the plans.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
• Identify and resolve any on-site issues related to the interior design.
• Work closely with project managers and other team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to procure materials and furnishings.
• Assist in client meetings to present design concepts and updates.
• Address client feedback and incorporate changes into the design.
• Layout planning and preparation of detailed drawings
• Coordination with contractors and consultants
• On-site supervision
• Site measurements (of any type)
• Preparation of BOQs, if possible

Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• 6-8 years of experience in interior drafting, most preferably in high-end residential interior projects.
• Technical Skills
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for detailed drafting.
• Skilled in MS Office for documentation and communication.
• Expertise in SketchUp for 3D modeling and visualization.
• Proficiency in Photoshop for rendering and presentations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
