Interior Door Designer

Location: Pune Position Overview: The Interior Door Designer will be responsible for creating innovative, functional, and aesthetically appealing door designs that meet customer requirements and align with the company’s quality standards. The role requires strong knowledge of materials, design trends, and production processes related to interior doors. Key Roles & Responsibilities: Conceptualize, design, and develop creative interior door models as per client requirements. Work closely with the production and sales teams to understand specifications and ensure feasibility. Prepare detailed 2D drawings and 3D visualizations using design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or similar). Select appropriate materials, finishes, and hardware for door designs. Ensure all designs comply with safety, durability, and functional standards. Collaborate with clients, architects, and project managers for customized design solutions. Maintain proper documentation of design approvals and revisions. Keep updated with the latest design trends, technologies, and industry innovations. Provide technical support to the production team during execution and installation. Ensure timely delivery of designs within given project timelines. Requirements & Skills: Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Photoshop, or similar). Strong creativity, detailing, and visualization skills. Knowledge of wood, laminates, veneers, and other interior materials. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines. Employment Type: Full-Time Reporting To: Design Head / Production Manager
