Interior Designer

Role Description

Transcendence Design Studio is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Interior Design Specialist with a strong background in residential interiors to join our hybrid team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in high-end residential design, from concept development through execution, and a passion for creating timeless, functional, and personalized spaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Space Planning & Residential Layouts: Develop elegant, functional space plans tailored to client lifestyles using tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and ArchiCAD.
• Detailed Drawings & Design Execution: Produce and refine construction drawings, custom furniture details, and joinery layouts using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Bluebeam.
• FF&E Selection: Curate and specify Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment aligned with residential themes, styles, and budgets.
• Client-Centric Design Solutions: Interpret client briefs to create bespoke residential environments that balance aesthetics with everyday comfort.
• On-Site Coordination: Liaise with consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure accurate on-site execution and material detailing.
• Design Presentations & Styling Concepts: Prepare mood boards, look-books, and presentation decks using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and PowerPoint.
• Software Proficiency: Use SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, and rendering tools to create visuals and drawings that reflect the project vision.
• Technical Knowledge: Understand residential codes, MEP coordination, and material applications; familiarity with BIM workflows is a plus.
• Project & Time Management: Organize project schedules, resource allocation, and deliverables across multiple design phases.
• Creative Problem Solving: Approach spatial and aesthetic challenges with thoughtful, practical solutions that enhance the user experience.
• Budgeting & Procurement Insight: Prepare estimates, material BOQs, and support procurement in line with project budgets.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience, with a strong portfolio in residential interiors.
• Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal, communication, and client-interfacing skills; a collaborative mindset and detail-driven approach.

Nice to Have

• Experience in luxury or high-end residential interiors.
• Knowledge of sustainable materials, lighting design, or smart home integration.
• Familiarity with client hand-holding, post-occupancy styling, and aftercare.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
