Interior Designer or draftsman

We are seeking a highly skilled Draftsman or Interior Designer with strong technical drawing abilities and a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate must be experienced in producing precise and efficient working drawings, especially for interior design and architectural projects. You should be able to understand, interpret, and execute design intent through technical drawings and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:Prepare detailed interior design drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and joinery/shop drawings.Produce working drawings quickly and accurately from concept sketches, designer markups, and site measurements.Interpret and apply relevant building codes, regulations, and materials within design documents.Coordinate with the design team and external consultants to ensure design accuracy and completeness.Revise and update drawings based on feedback from designers, clients, and site conditions.Ensure all drawings are clear, consistent, and follow established CAD standards.Requirements:Proven experience (3+ years preferred) as a Draftsman or Interior Designer in a professional studio or architecture firm.Strong understanding of drawing details, construction techniques, materials, and joinery.Proficiency in AutoCAD is a must; knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, or other design software is a plus.Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.Good communication and organizational skills.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.Preferred Qualifications:Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.Experience in site coordination or project execution is an advantage.Knowledge of Canale or experience producing detailed drawings for complex interior design elements is highly valued.What We Offer:A collaborative and creative work environment.Opportunities to work on high-end residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.Competitive salary based on experience.
