Interior Designer

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer with experience in interior fit-out projects to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for developing design concepts, creating detailed drawings, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring the execution of interiors as per client requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Understand client requirements, project scope, and functionality. Prepare space planning, mood boards, and conceptual designs. Develop detailed design drawings including floor plans, elevations, sections, reflected ceiling plans (RCP), and furniture layouts. Select materials, finishes, furniture, and lighting as per project budget and aesthetics. Coordinate with external consultants (MEP, HVAC, civil, etc.) for integration with interior design. Work closely with the project execution team to ensure design implementation on-site. Conduct site visits to monitor work progress and quality checks. Analyze risks and prepare contingency cost plans. Prepare BOQ and assist in procurement of interior materials and finishes. Liaise with vendors, contractors, and suppliers for timely delivery and execution. Manage timelines and budgets to meet project milestones.

Requirements:

Bachelor s degree or diploma in Interior Design or Architecture. 2 5 years of experience in commercial/residential interior fit-out projects. Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Photoshop, and MS Office. Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, and current interior design trends. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in turnkey fit-out projects. Knowledge of local building codes and compliance. Familiarity with 3D rendering tools (e.g., Lumion, 3ds Max, V-Ray) is a plus.
