Role Overview As an Interior Designer Intern at The Circle Stays, you will have the opportunity to work on real projects that directly impact guest satisfaction. This role is perfect for design students or recent graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in hospitality interior design. Key Responsibilities - Assist in designing and styling homestay properties to create welcoming, Instagram-worthy spaces - Develop mood boards, color palettes, and design concepts for various properties - Source furniture, dcor, and accessories within specified budgets - Create floor plans and space planning layouts using design software - Conduct property visits to assess design needs and take measurements - Collaborate with the team on seasonal dcor updates and property refreshes - Research current hospitality design trends and guest preferences - Support photo styling for property listings and marketing materials - Maintain design documentation and create design specification sheets - Assist with vendor coordination and shopping for design elements Qualifications Required - Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field - Strong aesthetic sense and understanding of design principles - Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar) - Good knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) - Excellent communication and presentation skills - Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects Preferred Qualifications - Portfolio showcasing residential or hospitality design work - Understanding of hospitality industry standards - Experience with 3D rendering software - Knowledge of local furniture and dcor vendors - Social media savvy with an eye for visual content Additional Details The Circle Stays offers the following benefits to its Interior Designer Intern: - Hands-on experience in hospitality interior design - Portfolio-building opportunities with completed real-world projects - Mentorship from experienced professionals - Exposure to complete design project lifecycle - Networking opportunities within the hospitality industry - Letter of recommendation upon successful completion - Flexible working hours to accommodate academic schedules - Creative freedom to implement your design ideas,
