This is an excellent opportunity for design students or recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in hospitality interior design, working on real projects that directly impact guest satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in designing and styling homestay properties to create welcoming, Instagram-worthy spacesDevelop mood boards, color palettes, and design concepts for various propertiesSource furniture, dcor, and accessories within specified budgetsCreate floor plans and space planning layouts using design softwareConduct property visits to assess design needs and take measurementsCollaborate with the team on seasonal dcor updates and property refreshesResearch current hospitality design trends and guest preferencesSupport photo styling for property listings and marketing materialsMaintain design documentation and create design specification sheetsAssist with vendor coordination and shopping for design elementsQualificationsRequired:Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or related fieldStrong aesthetic sense and understanding of design principlesProficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar)Good knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)Excellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple projectsPreferred:Portfolio showcasing residential or hospitality design workUnderstanding of hospitality industry standardsExperience with 3D rendering softwareKnowledge of local furniture and dcor vendorsSocial media savvy with an eye for visual contentWhat You'll GainHands-on experience in hospitality interior designPortfolio-building opportunities with completed real-world projectsMentorship from experienced professionalsExposure to complete design project lifecycleNetworking opportunities within the hospitality industryLetter of recommendation upon successful completionFlexible working hours to accommodate academic schedulesCreative freedom to implement your design ideas
