Interior Designer

Objective

To conceptualize, design, and execute visually stunning and functionally sound interior spaces for residential and commercial clients. The designer will collaborate closely with clients, design teams, and execution teams—translating creative vision into detailed 3D plans and real-world spaces while maintaining brand quality, adhering to timelines, and ensuring budget alignment.

Daily Tasks

• Meet and coordinate with clients to understand their space requirements
• Work on 2D layout planning and 3D conceptual visualizations
• Suggest design ideas, materials, finishes, and color palettes
• Visit project sites to monitor implementation and ensure design adherence
• Coordinate with execution and vendor teams for real-time design updates
• Prepare BOQs, mood boards, and sample presentations
• Manage project files, approvals, and all related documentation
• Ensure all ongoing site work aligns with approved designs
• Record reels, WhatsApp status clips, and YouTube Shorts for educational and awareness purposes

Weekly Tasks

• Present progress reports to clients or senior team members
• Visit vendors or showrooms to finalize finishes, fittings, or décor items
• Revisit and revise designs based on client feedback or site challenges
• Collaborate with the marketing team for design-related content (if required)
• Ensure all team members are aligned with the approved project plan
• Research and update knowledge on new materials, products, and trends

Monthly Tasks

• Lead or assist with walkthrough presentations for prospective clients
• Review and evaluate design quality across all ongoing and completed projects
• Participate in monthly planning and coordination meetings with sales and project teams
• Update design portfolio with completed projects and documentation
• Attend client meetings or Vastu consultations (if applicable)
• Monitor cost-effectiveness and design consistency across projects
• Suggest innovative ideas for modular design, space optimization, and client-specific requirements

Skills Required

• Strong visual imagination and space planning skills
• Proficiency in 2D & 3D design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, V-Ray, etc.)
• Basic working knowledge of Photoshop, Canva, or MS Office tools
• Ability to prepare BOQs, mood boards, and layout plans
• Excellent communication and client interaction capabilities
• High attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities
• Experience in site coordination and execution is preferred
• Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Awareness of Vastu principles and sustainable design practices is a plus
• Comfortable on camera (video shooting & presenting)

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design / Architecture / Equivalent
• Certification in Interior Design (optional but preferred)

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in interior design
