Interior Designer

Position Overview: Design Lead 3 Star Projects is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Design Associate to join our dynamic design team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for carpentry and design, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes. This role involves collaborating with clients, architects, and our manufacturing team to create high-quality, custom designs. Key Responsibilities: Design Development: Create detailed design drawings and specifications for custom furniture, cabinetry, and other woodwork projects. Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing expert advice and design solutions. Develop quotation for the projects based on the clients requirement. Project Management: Manage design projects from concept to completion, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met. Technical Drawings: Prepare and review technical drawings, blueprints, and 3D models using design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp). Material Selection: Recommend materials and finishes that align with the project requirements and client preferences. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all designs comply with industry standards, building codes, and company quality standards. Document the data of the all designs and develop item lists. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in carpentry design, furniture design, or a related field. Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other relevant tools. Creative Skills: Strong aesthetic sense with an eye for detail and a passion for design. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present ideas to clients and team members. Project Management: Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot design and manufacturing issues and provide practical solutions.
