Job Description

You will be working as an Interconnection Analyst at Cleantech Industry Resources. The company is dedicated to accelerating solar, battery storage, and EV projects in the United States by offering turnkey development services with a team that has extensive experience in the solar power industry. You will be based in Ahmedabad. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the technical and regulatory aspects of utility interconnection for renewable energy and energy storage projects. You will utilize your expertise to prepare and review interconnection packages, analyze utility and regulatory guidelines, and evaluate transmission and distribution tariffs, costs, and timelines. Your primary focus will be to support both front-of-the-meter (FTM) and behind-the-meter (BTM) projects across various RTO regions while optimizing strategies for grid integration and state incentive programs. Your core responsibilities will include managing the interconnection process, conducting technical analysis and strategy development, preparing and coordinating applications, engaging in stakeholder negotiation, ensuring regulatory compliance, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and managing utility documentation. You will need to have a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and a minimum of 4+ years of experience in transmission and distribution planning. Your technical skills should include proficiency in MS Office, with knowledge of AutoCAD being a bonus. You should also have experience in project management and a good understanding of renewable energy systems, particularly solar energy systems. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Additionally, you should be a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The job may require you to work on a computer for most of the day, participate in conference calls, and travel occasionally for team retreats.
