Interaction Designer

As an Interaction Designer with hands-on experience designing AI-powered products, you will play a crucial role in translating user needs into intuitive, engaging, and functional interaction flows for applications where AI is a key component. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with product managers, AI engineers, and UX/UI designers to create seamless user interactions, designing wireframes, interactive prototypes, and user flows that showcase AI capabilities in a clear and user-friendly manner. You will need to understand AI model behavior and constraints to design effective input/output experiences, conduct usability testing, and iterate designs based on feedback and behavioral data. It is essential to ensure accessibility, ethical design, and trust-building in AI interactions and advocate for a design process that prioritizes explainability, transparency, and user control when implementing AI features. Working closely with developers will be necessary to maintain design intent throughout the implementation process. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 2-4 years of experience as an Interaction Designer, UX Designer, or related role, including at least 1 year of experience working on AI-enabled products. A strong portfolio showcasing interaction design work, preferably with AI or data-driven features, is required. Proficiency with design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD, as well as an understanding of AI-specific UX challenges such as uncertainty handling and user trust, are essential. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are also key to excel in this position. Preferred skills for this role include experience in conversational UI/voice interface design, familiarity with usability testing methods and analytics tools, knowledge of human-AI interaction research, and understanding of emerging design patterns. Additionally, knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles would be advantageous.
