Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Internal Auditing – Functional Areas: Conduct internal audits across all departments, focusing on: Payments & Expenses – verification of vendor payments, petty cash, and expense claims Sales & Purchase Audits – validate invoices, GST compliance, rate contracts, and delivery schedules Banking Audits – review cash flow, fund utilization, bank reconciliations, and interest tracking Stock & Inventory Audits – perform stock verifications, material movement tracking (inward/outward), wastage control Material Management & Plant Operations: Review procurement cycles and vendor negotiations Ensure adherence to purchase order policies and GRN validations Verify material consumption, transfer, and scrap disposal Flag discrepancies between physical stock and ERP data Reporting & Controls: Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, risks, and recommendations Track and report non-compliance or process gaps to the management Recommend improvements in SOPs and internal control systems Support statutory and cost audits as required System and Compliance Checks: Evaluate accuracy of data in ERP systems (SAP / Tally / Oracle, etc.) Ensure adherence to internal financial controls , tax regulations, and accounting standards Follow up on action taken reports for past audits Preferred Candidate Profile: Qualified Inter CA / Chartered Accountant (CA) 2–5 years of experience in internal audit in manufacturing setups Industry background in steel, tubes, pipes, heavy engineering, or PEB preferred Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills Working knowledge of Excel, ERP systems, and audit tools Job Types: Full-time, Fresher Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month Benefits: Cell phone reimbursement Paid sick time Paid time off Provident Fund Schedule: Day shift Experience: Internal audits: 3 years (Required) Manufacturing management: 2 years (Required) Materials management: 3 years (Required) Work Location: In person
