Intellectual Property Lawyer

Role Overview: As a member of Agilitas, you will be responsible for driving the Intellectual Property (IP) strategies and initiatives of the company. Your role will involve overseeing the IP portfolio management, developing and implementing IP strategies, providing legal advice, leading enforcement actions, supporting partnerships, conducting training sessions, driving data protection strategies, and handling general commercial work. You will play a crucial role in protecting Agilitas" IP rights and ensuring compliance with regulations. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee filings, prosecution, and maintenance of trademarks, patents, and industrial designs worldwide - Develop and implement IP strategies to support growth, brand protection, innovation capture, and risk management - Provide expert legal advice to teams across product, marketing, licensing, and sponsorships - Lead enforcement actions, oppositions, and disputes, working with external counsel - Support partnerships, acquisitions, and licensing deals through thorough IP due diligence - Conduct training sessions to build IP awareness and empower teams - Drive data protection strategies and ensure regulatory compliance - Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements to move the business forward Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Law (LL.B.) - At least 5 years experience in IP law, preferably in sports, apparel, consumer goods, or technology - Proven expertise in trademarks, patents, and design filings, including international filings (Madrid Protocol, PCT) - Solid understanding of IP enforcement, litigation, and licensing - Strong communication, negotiation, and project management skills - Passion for sports and innovation is a plus Note: No additional details about the company were provided in the job description.,
