Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end technical integration of all containerized data center subsystems including power distribution, cooling systems (HVAC/chillers), fire suppression, IT racks, networking, monitoring systems, and security systems.
  • Own the system architecture baseline and ensure correct interfacing between electrical, mechanical, and IT/OT subsystems.
  • Coordinate with OEMs and internal teams to define interface specifications (electrical, thermal, mechanical, communication).
  • Drive integration planning, sequencing, and risk assessment for new builds and retrofits.
  • Conduct design reviews, FMEA/DFMEA for integration-related risks, and ensure compliance to standards (IEC/UL/TIA).
  • Oversee factory integration testing (FIT/FAT), onsite commissioning, and handover to operations.
  • Validate system performance KPIs: power usage, cooling capacity, redundancy, failover behavior, and network resilience.
  • Troubleshoot cross-functional issues involving power, cooling, PLC/BMS controls, EMS integration, and IT infrastructure.
  • Maintain integration documentation: interface control documents (ICD), wiring diagrams, network architecture, and test procedures.
  • Drive continuous improvements in modularity, configurability, integration cycle time, and system reliability.

Skills Required

  • Strong understanding of data center architecture: power systems (UPS, PDU, STS), cooling (DX/Chiller), battery/ESS, network switches, and IT racks.
  • Expertise in system integration, interface management, and multi-disciplinary coordination (electrical, mechanical, controls, IT).
  • Hands-on experience with PLC/SCADA/BMS/EMS protocols (Modbus, BACnet, SNMP, OPC-UA).
  • Knowledge of thermal management, airflow design, and power quality fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in reading/creating electrical schematics, P&IDs, mechanical layouts, and network diagrams.
  • Ability to run integration-level testing, FAT/SAT validation, and failure investigation.
  • Experience with containerized or modular data centers (MDC/MCS) is a strong advantage.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks: Tier classifications, IEC 61439/60364, UL, TIA-942, NFPA.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle fast-paced, multi-project environments.
