Job Description

As a Senior Electrical Engineer (Integration Engineer / Mechanical MV Switchgear Engineering) at our company, you will play a crucial role in analyzing customer and product engineering specifications to align with project goals. Your responsibilities will include defining the scope of work for switchgear systems, preparing detailed Bills of Materials (BOM), collaborating with cross-functional teams, and developing mechanical modeling concepts using various CAD tools. Your expertise in switchgear products and sheet metal standardization will be utilized to optimize design efficiency and quality. Additionally, you will customize mechanical switchgear drawings, support business development activities, and ensure effective project handover. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze customer and product engineering specifications to ensure alignment with project goals. - Define the scope of work for switchgear systems and associated components. - Prepare detailed Bills of Materials (BOM) and layout drawings. - Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to develop technical solutions. - Develop mechanical modeling concepts for switchgear using CAD tools. - Create detailed mechanical general arrangement drawings tailored to customer requirements. - Apply expertise in switchgear product standardization and NEMA standards. - Customize mechanical switchgear drawings to meet specific customer needs. - Support business development, proposal, and sales teams. - Coordinate with project management team for effective project handover. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. - Minimum of 8+ years of engineering experience in EPC, manufacturing, utility, or industrial environments. - Proven experience in the design and application of electrical power distribution products. - Strong understanding of mechanical structure, schematics, and layout diagrams. - Ability to interpret customer technical documentation and propose cost-effective solutions. - Basic financial acumen for business planning and product lifecycle management. - Demonstrated leadership, collaboration, and decision-making skills. - Excellent multitasking and customer service capabilities. - Strong communication skills for interaction with stakeholders. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and product configuration/pricing tools. - Familiarity with PLM software including SAP, Teamcenter, and Salesforce.
