Job Description

When you work in Freight Logistics and Operations at Kuehne+Nagel, you play a key role in optimizing processes and ensuring that inventory and shipments move efficiently. Your contributions go beyond just logistics; they help ensure that vital medicines reach patients on time and support deliveries of essential goods, ranging from wind turbines to semiconductors. At Kuehne+Nagel, your work has a significant impact in various ways. As a Customer Onboarding Engineer, you will be pivotal in the onboarding of new customers. Your responsibilities include defining processes for Operations in alignment with the customers" sales & operations planning processes and the Kuehne Nagel Blueprint. With strong communication skills and a proactive problem-solving approach, you will collaborate with customers, Operations, technical team members, and the finance organization to facilitate seamless customer onboarding and process optimization. Your key responsibilities will involve creating processes that serve both customers" logistics needs and operational standards, ensuring that process changes align with business objectives and the sales cost driver model productivity. You will be expected to identify and address any process deviations that do not align with the business objectives, clearly articulate requirements, and explain complex processes to various stakeholders. Proactively identifying potential roadblocks in customer onboarding and developing solutions to mitigate risks will be crucial aspects of your role. To excel in this role, you should possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with proven expertise in logistics process analysis and financial controlling or accounting. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential to effectively convey technical and operational concepts. Excellent problem-solving abilities, a detail-oriented mindset, and a meticulous approach to documentation are key attributes required for this role. Additionally, you should have experience in leading client workshops, coordinating across multiple teams, and managing stakeholders effectively.
