As an Insurance Customer Operations Associate at Ethos, you will play a vital role in supporting the insurance operations team by investigating issues, documenting findings, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals early in their insurance operations career who are detail-oriented, eager to learn, and passionate about upholding Ethos" high service standards. **Responsibilities:** - Support the investigation of issues impacting the administration of Ethos insurance policies. - Document operational incidents and track trends and recurring issues. - Assist in the internal triage of product and policy-related inquiries from customer-facing teams. - Communicate known issues and product changes to internal stakeholders in collaboration with senior team members. - Process financial and administrative tasks related to new launches and product stabilization. - Assist in quality assurance testing and validation of new features or updates to existing tools. - Execute defined manual procedures to ensure consistent service and compliance in automation gaps. - Possess and utilize a strong understanding of Ethos products and processes. - Identify and document process inefficiencies or opportunities for improvement. - Promptly escalate high-impact or time-sensitive issues to appropriate stakeholders. - Meet individual quality and productivity goals while upholding compliance and customer experience standards. **Qualifications:** - 1+ year(s) of experience in the U.S. insurance industry, familiarity with policy administration and compliance preferred. - Strong organizational and documentation skills with a high level of attention to detail. - Analytical mindset with a curiosity for understanding systems and processes. - Comfortable navigating ambiguity and seeking clarification. - Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive), Slack, and other productivity tools. - Effective communicator with the ability to summarize findings clearly and provide relevant context. - Team-oriented with a willingness to learn and embrace new challenges. - 1+ years of experience with SQL preferred.
