Role & responsibilities

Prepare instrument requirement based on the P&IDs, Cause & effect chart.

Prepare data sheets for field instruments and control valves based on flow, pressure temperature and level.

Develop process hook-up diagrams, logic diagrams, power distribution, and utility calculations

Vendor coordination to ensure selected instruments meet project specs and standards.

Prepare MRs and participate in TBE.

Participate in HAZOP/SIL assessment with instrument inputs.

Ensure As Bult instrument drawings and records are completed post installation.

Review ITPs and prepare Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) documentation

Proficient in control valve and pressure regulator sizing and selection

Skilled in sizing and calculation for line velocity, skid design, thermowell, orifice, and valve sizing

Prepare Operation & Control Philosophy (OCP) and Operation & Maintenance Manuals for skids (OMM).

Coordinate with factory instrumentation team to resolve production or quality hold notes on instrumentation engineering.

Skills

Knowledge of technical standards

Working Knowledge of field instrumentation, control system engineering (SCADA, PLC, RTU, communication protocols)

Working knowledge of MS Office, ISO 9000 & QHSE.

Working knowledge of wiring diagram, panel diagrams, cabling and termination documents, control valve / regulator sizing & selection. Basic process engineering like valve sizing, line sizing, meter sizing calculations

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications

Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines

Language

English / Marathi /Hindi
