Instrumentation Controls Engineer- Water

Role Overview: You will be responsible for concept design and detail design development for tender and/or construction level of instrumentation and control systems of various plants like WTP/WWTP, Pump stations, Hydro Power, and O&G plants. Your role will involve designing Process and Instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), generating field instruments and PLC I/O lists from P&IDs, preparing cable schedule and cable route diagrams, conduit development, instrument location plans, and instrument installation details. Additionally, you will be designing Control System Architecture/Network diagrams, Control Panels, Server cabinets, Electrical equipment layout, and plans. Your responsibilities will also include preparing technical specifications, scope of work, BOQ documents, design reports, control philosophy, instrument datasheets, purchase specifications, loop drawings, wiring diagrams, and other related tasks. Coordination with various disciplines and communication with internal clients for project status will also be part of your duties. Key Responsibilities: - Concept design and detail design development for instrumentation and control systems of various plants - Design Process and Instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) - Generate field instruments and PLC I/O lists - Prepare cable schedule, cable route diagrams, and conduit development - Design instrument location plans and installation details - Create Control System Architecture/Network diagrams - Design Control Panels, Server cabinets, and Electrical equipment layout - Prepare technical specifications, scope of work, BOQ documents, and design reports - Generate instrument datasheets, purchase specifications, loop drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics - Coordinate with different disciplines and communicate with internal clients Qualifications Required: - B.E. in Instrumentation & Control - Experience with PLC and DCS systems, Microsoft Office Suite - Knowledge of International standards like ISA, BS, IEC, NEMA, etc. - Good Communication and Presentation Skills - Learning Attitude, good grasping power, and a team player - Knowledge of Water/Wastewater treatment process, O&G sectors (added advantage) - Experience in drawings and documents review, vendor submittal review (added advantage) - AutoCAD software skills (added advantage) - Experience in Middle East and Asia Pacific region projects (added advantage) (Note: No additional details of the company were provided in the job description),
