Job Description

Role Overview: You will be joining Operations Reference Data Services within Deutsche Bank's CIB division as an Instrument Reference Data Analyst. Your main responsibility will be to support data quality of instrument reference data within the firm, performing key functions such as exception management, managing consumer queries, and compiling daily metrics. You will need to effectively communicate, manage your time, prioritize workloads, and be aware of risks. Collaboration with stakeholders from various teams and external data vendors will be essential in ensuring data quality standards are met. Key Responsibilities: - Performing and/or managing various exception management functions across data quality functions for all asset classes, across regions (APAC/EMEA/NY) - Responding to consumer queries, analyzing the issues raised, and recommending remediation - Ensuring accurate, timely, and completeness of reporting - Conducting root cause analysis of exceptions, investigating and escalating significant issues to senior management - Escalating risks or issues to manager/management as part of daily activities - Supporting activities related to application adoptions and migrations onto the Instrument Reference Data Strategic platform in collaboration with technology partners - Ensuring timely resolution of data challenges by working with internal and external stakeholders Qualifications Required: - Experience in Instrument Reference Data domain preferred - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues - Ability to learn and understand multiple areas of the business due to the cross-asset nature of the team - Teamwork skills and ability to work under high pressure - Clear and concise communication and escalation abilities, recognizing high-risk situations promptly - Proactive and self-driven to promote continuous improvement - Project management experience is a plus - Detail-oriented and control-focused - Prior experience in Financial Services preferred Additional Company Details: Deutsche Bank offers a range of benefits including best in class leave policy, gender-neutral parental leaves, sponsorship for industry-relevant certifications, and comprehensive hospitalization insurance for employees and their dependents.
