Description

The Instrument Method Engineer will be responsible for developing and validating analytical methods for various instrumentation applications. This role requires a strong background in analytical chemistry and instrumentation, with a focus on ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and validate analytical methods for instrumentation used in various projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal quality requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to instrumentation and analytical methods.
  • Prepare and review technical documentation, including method validation reports, SOPs, and protocols.
  • Conduct training sessions for junior engineers and laboratory staff on instrumentation techniques and methods.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8-10 years of experience in method development and validation for analytical instrumentation.
  • Strong knowledge of chromatographic techniques (HPLC, GC) and spectroscopic methods (UV-Vis, IR, NMR).
  • Experience with data analysis software and statistical tools for method validation.
  • Familiarity with regulatory guidelines (such as ICH, FDA) and quality assurance processes.
