Job Description – Inside sales Executive (Travel Process)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Work Location: In-person
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years in Sales / Customer Service (Travel industry preferred)

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced, extroverted, and target-driven Sales & Customer Service Executive to join our travel team. The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years of proven experience in sales or customer service, preferably in the travel domain. The role involves active communication, sales conversions, customer handling, and coordination with travel agents.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Communication & Lead Management

  • Communicate with customers through outbound calls and follow-ups.
  • Understand customers’ requirements and identify sales opportunities.
  • Respond to customer and travel agent queries via calls and emails.
  • Follow up on leads, quotations, and confirmations.

Sales Activities

  • Prepare and share quotes; follow up to convert them into confirmed bookings.
  • Explain and demonstrate travel products, features, and services.
  • Research, qualify, and convert new leads.
  • Upsell relevant travel products and meet monthly sales targets.

Operations & Coordination

  • Handle on-tour customer queries by coordinating with travel agents and internal teams.
  • Stay updated about product offerings, travel services, and industry trends.
  • Maintain awareness of competitor products and pricing.

Data Management

  • Create and manage a database of current and potential customers.
  • Record all interactions and updates accurately for reporting and follow-up.

Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales or customer service.
  • Experience in the travel industry will be an added advantage.
  • Extroverted, confident, and talkative personality.
  • Strong communication (verbal & written) and negotiation skills.
  • Target-oriented with a strong desire to achieve and exceed sales goals.
  • Good understanding of customer needs and problem-solving abilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹21,200.00 - ₹45,200.00 per month
