Job Description

Job Summary The Infra. Technology Specialist will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing the companys infrastructure systems. With a focus on Linux and Windows basics Apache Tomcat Kubernetes Ansible or terraform and IBM WebSphere the specialist will ensure seamless operations and contribute to the companys technological advancement. The role requires a hybrid work model and offers a day shift schedule. Responsibilities Manage and maintain Linux and Windows server environments to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Oversee the administration of Apache Tomcat servers ensuring efficient deployment and management of applications. Provide expertise in IBM WebSphere Application Server administration to support business-critical applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud-based solutions that align with business objectives. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and enhance user experience. Implement security protocols and best practices to safeguard infrastructure against potential threats. Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations processes and procedures. Assist in capacity planning and scaling of infrastructure to meet growing business demands. Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Participate in the evaluation and integration of new technologies to improve infrastructure efficiency. Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders as needed. Facilitate training sessions to enhance team knowledge and skills in infrastructure management. Contribute to the development of strategic plans for infrastructure growth and innovation. Qualifications Possess strong foundational knowledge in Linux and Windows server environments. Demonstrate proficiency in Apache Tomcat server administration and management. Have hands-on experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server administration. Understand cloud computing basics and their application in business solutions. Exhibit problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Show capability in implementing security measures and maintaining system integrity. Display excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and support. Hold a bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field. Certifications Required Linux Professional Institute Certification Apache Tomcat Administration Certification
