The IT Systems Analyst ensures the optimal performance, compatibility, and security of computer systems, hardware, and software within the organization. This role evaluates, implements, and maintains systems while providing technical support to users and collaborating with IT management to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

System Evaluation and Implementation

• Evaluate system potential by testing compatibility of new programs with existing software.
• Assess expansions or enhancements by studying workload and capacity of computer systems.
• Achieve system objectives by gathering relevant data, identifying options, and recommending courses of action.
• Confirm program objectives and specifications by testing new programs against established standards and making necessary modifications.
• Evaluate vendor-supplied software for compatibility with existing hardware and programs.
• Place software and hardware into production by establishing connections, entering necessary commands, and ensuring functionality.

System Maintenance and Improvement

• Improve existing programs by reviewing objectives, evaluating proposed changes, and implementing modifications.
• Maintain system capability by testing computer components and performing regular maintenance.
• Prepare user references by writing operating instructions.
• Maintain historical records by documenting hardware and software changes and revisions.
• Maximize use of hardware and software by training users, interpreting instructions, and providing support.

Support and Troubleshooting

• Attend day-to-day incidents and address them promptly.
• Maintain call reports and ensure timely closure.
• Assist Network Manager with network troubleshooting.
• Handle Apple devices using MDM and ASM tools under guidance from Senior System Analyst.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by the Senior Manager IT.

• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing publications, networking, and participating in professional societies.

• Maintain client confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
