Role Overview

This is a high-impact role drives MyHome by Saint-Gobains flagship initiative:

  • ICONnect: a national architect engagement program focused on building strategic relationships, enhancing Architects experience with the brand, and driving business through a segmented approach.

The role requires a mix of strategic thinking and on-ground execution, including personal architect visits, technical solution pitches, lead generation, and market-specific engagement planning. It involves close coordination with IHB and Emerging India sales teams to align activities with business goals and opportunity pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Personally visit top and emerging architects across key markets to present Saint-Gobain MyHomes end-to-end solutions (uPVC windows and other offerings), showcasing product USPs, performance, and design flexibility.
  • Deliver technical presentations tailored to project needs, product specifications, and design opportunities by building trust and creating influence.
  • Generate, qualify, and follow up on architect leads, working with the sales team to track movement from interest to quote to conversion.
  • Support the sales team in tracking pipeline status through C-Connect /ICONnect tracker ensuring visibility and timely conversion efforts.
  • Assist regional teams in planning customized engagement strategies for different architect categories (ICONs, Elite, Premium, Aspirants) based on market potential, project scale, and relationship depth.
  • Curate experiential touchpoints such as expert talks, project showcases, events, or other engagement activities (Special days/themes) aligned with architect profiles (this involves complete coordination end to end)
  • Build strong relationships with architects to drive repeat business, referrals, and brand advocacy.

  • Collaborate with sales heads and regional managers to garner customer testimonial videos
  • Coordinate and shoot customer testimonials
  • Post in social media

Program Management & Strategic Planning

  • Collaborate with sales heads and regional managers to align architect engagement and DST capability goals with regional business priorities.
  • Maintain detailed trackers and dashboards for ICONnect program with insights on performance, growth metrics, and best practices.
  • Regularly review program impact, capture field feedback, and iterate strategy for better market alignment.
  • Publish weekly and monthly reports on ICONnect onboarding status, engagement planned and executed and pipeline of leads contributing to business growth.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills to influence high-value architects.
  • Good understanding of the market dynamics and the need of Architects.
  • Strong understanding of technical product selling, design preferences, and customer journey mapping.
  • Ability to blend strategic thinking with hands-on execution of curated engagements for every Architect firm.
  • Collaborative and proactive mindset to work with field sales and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong planning, intense follow-up, and program ownership capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Engineering background with MBA/PGDM in Marketing preferably with building materials industry.
  • 4 8 years of experience in architect engagement, B2B field marketing.
