Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Kozhikode for an Infection Control Nurse / Nurse Educator. The role involves implementing and monitoring infection control policies and procedures, educating staff on infection prevention standards, and conducting training for best practices in healthcare settings. Responsibilities include identifying and managing infectious disease risks, ensuring compliance with hygiene standards, conducting audits, and managing infection-related documentation and reporting.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Infection Control and Prevention strategies is essential.
• Strong knowledge of Nursing principles and practices, along with the ability to educate and train other healthcare professionals.
• Understanding of Infectious Diseases and proficiency in managing associated risks.
• Familiarity with medical protocols and procedures related to Infection Management, Hygiene, and Patient Safety.
• Ability to conduct audits, analyze and maintain accurate infection control data.
• Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with relevant certifications and prior experience in infection control is preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a commitment to fostering a safe healthcare environment.
