Responsibilities:

Training and Development

• Develop and deliver spinning mill training programs to improve worker skills and knowledge.
• Assess training needs and create targeted modules.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and adjust programs accordingly.
• Work with department heads to align training with goals and standards.
• Mentor team members to promote continuous learning.
• Maintain training records for compliance.

Equipment Utilization Efficiency

• Analyze machinery data to improve equipment utilization.
• Implement preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Inspect equipment regularly and address issues proactively.
• Collaborate with maintenance on troubleshooting.
• Monitor equipment KPIs (uptime, throughput, energy consumption).
• Apply lean principles to optimize equipment layout and workflow.

Process Optimization and Waste Reduction

• Analyze processes to identify inefficiencies.
• Use lean techniques to streamline workflows and reduce waste.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Monitor process KPIs (cycle time, defects, material consumption).
• Collaborate on process improvements.
• Audit SOP compliance and identify optimization opportunities.

Compliance and Reporting

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Maintain records of maintenance, training, and improvements.
• Prepare reports on equipment, training, and process KPIs.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to management.

General Expectations and Past Experiences:

• Bachelors degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Textile Engineering.
• 5+ years of industrial engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, experience in spinning mills is an added advantage.
• Proficient in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Proven ability to develop and implement technical training programs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to interpret data and identify improvements.
• Excellent communication skills for all levels of the organization.
