Role & responsibilities

Position Description:

Job Tasks:

• Responsible for evaluating current manufacturing practices and identify those needing improvement
• Responsible for Standard time estimation for different operations through PMTS technique (MOST /MODAPTS)
• Prepare Multi Model Line Balancing for Various Models with respect to capacity
• Responsible for Productivity Improvement

Scope identification & driving for implementation in Vehicle production/Aggregate Shop

• Responsible for Efficiency improvement by identifying and implementing the gaps in process
• Responsible for method Improvement and waste optimization
• Responsible for Project Management/ Team Management
• Capacity & Head Count estimation

- Shop wise Capacity estimation

- Shopwise Head count estimation in line with PMTS time

• Digitalization and Industry 4.0 Projects

Skill requirements:

• Hands on Experience in MOST / MODAPTS Technique or any other estimation method for arriving standard time
• Knowledge of various manufacturing processes
• Ability to do Multi Model Line Balancing in complex manufacturing environment
• Capability to identify and address root causes of problems in production processes
• Ability to plan and organize projects, including defining scope, setting timelines
• Ability to present ideas, proposals, and project outcomes effectively to stakeholders.

#Understanding the design requirements and plant BOP, BOM, MBOM

• Develop 2D layout of assembly process in AutoCAD with proper measurement and detailing
• Design mode of transport and qty in materials flow based on asset / station positioning
• Develop 3D of approved 2D layout
• Estimate capacity of plant , RM storage, Finished goods, and advise for increment and decrement production volume
• Planning budget limitations.
• Developing prototypes and presenting ideas.
• Attending brainstorming sessions for innovative ideas and concepts.
• Proofreading the text in the design.
• Taking feedback from the team members.
• Making changes to the design.
• Ensuring the design speaks visually.
• Presenting the final design to the stakeholders.
• Maintaining a healthy relationship with the clients.
