Job Description

Roles And Responsibilities
  • Follow up perform, tool installation, hook-up support, commissioning, and qualification along with OEM vendors.
  • Execute preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance to ensure maximum tool uptime.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement corrective actions.
  • Support process-related issues in coordination with process and customer teams.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to vacuum systems, gas delivery systems, RF systems, and automation/Handler systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical, electronics, and basic PLC-related faults.
  • Maintain detailed service reports, maintenance logs, and documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, EHS, and fab protocols.
  • Provide off-shift and on-call support as required.
  • Travel to customer sites (domestic international) for installations and service support.
Eligibility Criteria

Mandatory Skills:

  • Total experience:

    Minimum

    5 to 7 years

    in semiconductor wafer fab equipment support.
  • International fab exposure:

    3 years of international fab experience.
  • Hands-on experience with

    200mm wafer fab equipment

    in one or more modules- Thin Film (PVD/CVD), Dry Etch, Wet Etch, Diffusion, Metrology, Photolithography (equipment maintenance)
  • Strong

    equipment troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

    .
  • Good understanding of

    vacuum systems

    .
  • Working knowledge of

    electrical and electronic systems

    .
  • Diploma or bachelors degree in engineering

    (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Instrumentation, or related discipline).
  • Ability to analyse complex equipment failures and drive resolution independently.
  • Must be willing to work in an international location outside India and support customer fab operations through travel or on-site overseas assignments.
