Industrial Designer

As a Design professional at Noise, you will be instrumental in shaping the design vision for multiple product categories. Your key responsibilities will include: - Owning and driving the design vision for multiple product categories, ensuring that form, function, and user experience are seamlessly integrated into manufacturable designs. - Working on new product design and CMF (Color, Material, Finish) exploration to deliver exceptional physical experiences that resonate with the brand's identity. - Engaging deeply in user and market research to gain insights that will inform design strategy and direction. - Managing multiple projects simultaneously, collaborating with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Marketing), and overseeing external design partners to ensure the timely and high-quality execution of projects. To excel in this role, you should meet the following requirements: - Possess a design thinking mindset with at least 1+ years of experience in designing small-sized consumer products. - Hold a degree from NID Ahmedabad or an equivalent tier-1 design school. - Demonstrate a strong aesthetic sensibility, technical knowledge of materials and processes, and a collaborative approach to work. - Enjoy the balance between creative exploration and real-world feasibility, with a portfolio that showcases both functional design and visual excellence. - Be well-versed in all stages of the design process, from early ideation to final mass production, with a solid understanding of manufacturing constraints, material sciences, and emerging trends.
