As a Design Lead at Noise, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the design vision across multiple product categories. Your primary responsibility will be to merge form, function, and user experience seamlessly to create designs that are not only visually appealing but also manufacturable. Leading new product design initiatives and exploring CMF (Color, Material, Finish) options will be crucial to delivering exceptional physical experiences that resonate with the brand's identity. You will be deeply involved in user and market research, delving into insights that will drive the design strategy and direction. Managing multiple projects simultaneously, collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Product, Engineering, and Marketing, and overseeing external design partners will be essential to ensure the timely and high-quality execution of projects. To excel in this role, you should possess a design thinking mindset with a minimum of 6 years of experience in designing consumer products at a small scale. A degree from NID Ahmedabad or an equivalent tier-1 design school is required. Your strong aesthetic sense, technical knowledge of materials and processes, and collaborative approach will be valued. You should enjoy striking a balance between creative exploration and real-world feasibility, with a portfolio that showcases both functional design and visual excellence. Your work will encompass the entire design process from early ideation to final mass production. Therefore, a solid understanding of manufacturing constraints, material sciences, and emerging trends is crucial for success in this role.
