Indirect Procurement Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for indirect categories (e.g., IT, operations, HR services, office supplies, facilities management, professional services).
• Manage the end-to-end procurement process including RFQ/RFP, supplier selection, negotiation, contracting, and purchase order creation.
• Identify cost savings opportunities and deliver value through strategic sourcing and supplier management.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure quality, delivery, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor supplier performance against KPIs and resolve supplier-related issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, legal, operations, IT, HR) to understand requirements and ensure procurement alignment with business objectives.
• Maintain procurement records, contracts, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze spend data and market trends to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelors degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Procurement, or related field.
• 25 years of experience in indirect procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
• Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.
• Knowledge of procurement best practices, sourcing methodologies, and cost analysis.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP or similar) and MS Office.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
