Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Indian Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of Indian cuisine, authentic cooking techniques, and the ability to create traditional as well as innovative dishes. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook authentic Indian dishes including curries, dals, biryanis, breads, and snacks. Plan and design the menu, ensuring quality, consistency, and authenticity. Maintain kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards. Monitor portion control and minimize food wastage. Manage inventory, order raw materials, and ensure cost-effective use of ingredients. Train and supervise junior kitchen staff and commis. Ensure timely preparation and presentation of food during service hours. Experiment with new recipes and maintain a balance between traditional and modern cooking. Requirements: Proven work experience as an Indian Chef or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of Indian spices, gravies, tandoor, and traditional cooking methods. Ability to manage multiple orders in a fast-paced environment. Good leadership and teamwork skills. High standards of cleanliness and personal hygiene. Diploma/Certification in Culinary Arts (preferred but not mandatory). Salary & Benefits: Salary as per industry standards and experience. Meals and accommodation may be provided.
