Job Title: Cook / Chef Location: VBHC, near Alliance University, Bangalore Employment Type: Full-time Working Hours: 8–9 hours (Evening/Night Shift) Salary Range: ₹17,000 – ₹21,000 per month (based on skill & experience) Job Summary: We are looking for a passionate and skilled Cook to join our team at Mama Miraki / Hunger Station. The ideal candidate should be able to prepare a variety of dishes, maintain consistent taste and quality, and ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook menu items (Appetizers, Wraps, Sandwiches, Maggie, Chinese dishes, Tacos, etc.) according to standard recipes and presentation style. Ensure consistent taste, portion size, and plating for all dishes. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times. Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner, especially during peak hours. Manage stock and inform the manager about low inventory or raw material needs. Handle kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Follow all food safety and hygiene protocols. Work collaboratively with helpers and servers for smooth operations. Maintain discipline, punctuality, and a positive attitude within the team. Skills & Qualifications: Minimum 1–2 years of cooking experience in a café, restaurant, or cloud kitchen. Knowledge of basic Indian and Chinese cooking styles. Ability to work independently and handle pressure during rush hours. Good understanding of kitchen hygiene and safety standards. Must be reliable, punctual, and willing to learn new recipes. Perks & Benefits: Salary between ₹17,000 – ₹21,000/month based on experience. Free meals during shift.
