Job Description

Role Overview

The Independent Director will play a key role in providing governance, strategic oversight, and industry insights to Organization’s leadership team. The ideal candidate will have extensive leadership experience in banking and financial services, preferably at the CTO/Director/VP level, with strong exposure to technology-driven initiatives and regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic guidance and governance as a Board Member.
  • Advise on technology adoption, digital banking, and product innovation.
  • Leverage expertise in Prepaid Payment Instrument (PPI) license and compliance requirements.
  • Guide the leadership team in scaling technology infrastructure.
  • Contribute to enhancing industry credibility and partnerships.
  • Ensure governance, compliance, and transparency in board decisions.

Key Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in banking/financial services with strong exposure to technology.
  • Senior leadership background as Ex-CTO/Director of Engineering/VP of Engineering in Banks or NBFCs.
  • In-depth knowledge of digital payments and regulatory frameworks (PPI, NBFC).
  • Prior experience as a Board Member or in governance roles (preferred).
  • Retired professionals with relevant expertise are strongly encouraged to apply.
