  • The ability to monitor and ensures correct classification of all revenue, with particular attention to miscellaneous and account payable related revenues. Reviews banquet checks against Catering Orders for accuracy of preparation.
  • The ability to prepare and input the following month-end documents for general ledger processing: Revenue Journal, Cash Receipts Journal, Entertainment Journal.
  • The ability to review various miscellaneous revenue areas, including, but not limited to, the following: Health Club, Valet Parking, Concierge, Laundry/Valet and Telephone. The ability to report any revenue variances to postings and initiates the process of solving these detected variances.
  • The ability to accurately reconcile specific General Ledger accounts as assigned by the Controller or Assistant Controller.
  • The ability to establish and maintain communication with the Night Audit and reviews Night Audit work daily for accuracy.
  • The ability to investigate any discrepancies or problems that may occur with any of the daily work.
  • The ability to prepare and distribute the Daily Management Review Package.
  • The ability to review the update and ensure all daily work is in balance.
  • The ability to respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation.
  • The ability to perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff.
  • Ensure correct classification of all revenue, including miscellaneous and accounts payable related revenue. (30%)
  • Review banquet checks against Catering orders for accuracy of preparation. (20%)
  • Prepare and input month-end documents for general ledger processing including revenue journal, cash receipts journal and entertainment journal. (10%)
  • Reconcile General Ledger accounts as assigned. (10%)
  • Comply with and enforce Four Seasons Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact. (10%)
  • Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors. (10%)
  • Establish and maintain communications with the night audit and review night audit work daily for accuracy. (10%)
